Create a Vampire Date Photo from a Portrait with GPT Image 2.5
Turn a portrait into a candlelit vampire date scene with GPT Image 2.5. See the tested reference, prompt, result, and checks for faces and hands.
The date looks promising: velvet jacket, candlelit table, excellent eye contact—and a pair of fangs. An AI vampire couple photo works when the romantic setup reads immediately and the person from your reference still looks recognizable.
This example turns a simple café portrait into a fictional gothic dinner. We added a new companion rather than supplying two separate portraits, so the workflow is about keeping one reference subject while inventing the rest of the scene.

One reference image → GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst → gothic romance portrait.
Start with one face, not a complicated couple pose
Choose a portrait with an unobstructed face, visible hair and some clothing. The demonstration uses a synthetic adult woman in an emerald blouse. Her café background is disposable; her face, curls and green clothing are the details the editing request tries to retain. A face hidden by sunglasses or hair gives you less information to preserve.
Our reference was generated for this demonstration; no real person, pet owner or location is being represented as the subject of a real event. You can use your own suitable photo or another reference you are authorized to edit.
Reproduce the selected result in WeShop
Open WeShop’s GPT Image generator, attach the reference through the image upload control, and select GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. The source must actually be attached: describing it in words alone would create a different task.

| Tool | WeShop GPT Image generator |
| Model | gpt-image-2.5-sunburst |
| Input | One attached reference image |
| Aspect ratio request | 4:5 |
| Image size / quality | 1K / medium |
| Quantity | One per prompt |
| Selected output dimensions | 912 × 1152 pixels |
The table reports the requested aspect ratio and the returned dimensions separately. The portrait outputs in this set do not have to be an exact mathematical 4:5 crop. These runs were made on October 20, 2026, with one result per prompt; they do not measure repeat-run reliability.
Build tension with seating and light
Place the reference subject on one side of a small table and the fictional companion on the other. A shared glance, candles and two glasses communicate a date without asking the model to solve an intertwined embrace. Specify a fully clothed adult companion and describe the vampire cues concretely.
Separate the character cue from the horror effect
Small fangs and a velvet jacket are enough for this treatment. Blood, wounds or a foreground monster would change the tone of the picture. Warm table light and cool moonlight give the scene its contrast; neither requires changing the reference subject into a different person.
Copy the tested candlelit vampire date prompt
Edit image 1 into a cinematic gothic date photograph. Preserve the adult woman's recognizable face, curly hair and emerald blouse. Seat her on the right side of a small candlelit dinner table in an old stone dining room. On the left add one handsome fictional adult male vampire age 35, fully clothed in a tailored black velvet jacket, pale skin, subtle visible fangs and an amused expression. They exchange a playful glance, hands resting naturally on their own side of the table. Dark red roses, two empty crystal glasses, warm candles and cool moonlight, glamorous slow-burn romance, tasteful and non-explicit. No blood, violence, extra people, text or watermark. Keep both faces clear and believable; no kissing or overlapping hands.
Generate one image, open the result at full size, and compare it with the attached source. The right-hand tool loads this selected example with its actual reference, prompt and settings. You can try it directly using the tool on the right.
What the actual output shows
The selected result shows the curly-haired woman in green across from a dark-haired companion, with candles, roses and two glasses forming a coherent dinner scene.
The companion has visible vampire-like teeth, and both faces remain readable. The pose was reinterpreted, including hands near the faces; the image is not an unchanged portrait pasted into a background.
Check the details before you share
Inspect the newly generated companion, hands, glass rims and candle placement. This was one selected run, not a test of identity consistency over many dates. We did not test the harder mirror-reflection trick, so the example makes no claim that the vampire can be absent from a mirror.
If a detail needs correction, return to the source or attach the selected result for a clearly scoped revision. State exactly what should change and what must remain. That correction path is workflow guidance; we are not presenting an untested follow-up as a successful result.
Turn the image into a two-slide date reveal
Use the ordinary portrait first and the gothic dinner second. Let the fangs provide the reveal rather than covering the picture with explanations. A caption such as “He meets all my requirements. Except having a pulse.” gives the image a comic premise without pretending it documents an actual date.
Suggested caption:
He meets all my requirements. Except having a pulse. 🦇 Made with AI from a fictional portrait. Which detail gave him away?
