Turn a Couple Photo into a Dramatic Romance Book Cover with GPT Image 2.5
Turn a couple photo into a fictional romance book cover with GPT Image 2.5. See the tested two-person reference, dramatic scene, title prompt, and cover checks.
They went for one coffee. The cover already promises three sequels. A couple book cover generator can turn an ordinary shared portrait into a deliberately overdramatic romance premise, complete with rain, a railway platform and an unnecessarily epic title.
The example starts from one image containing two fictional adults. We use that image as the identity reference, then ask for a finished flat cover rather than a photograph of a physical book.

One reference image → GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst → fictional romance cover parody.
Begin with a clear two-person reference
Use a photograph in which both adult faces are unobstructed and large enough to inspect. Our synthetic couple stands side by side outdoors in casual clothing. The new outfits, station scene and title are creative changes; the two faces are the reference details to compare afterward.
Our reference was generated for this demonstration; no real person, pet owner or location is being represented as the subject of a real event. You can use your own suitable photo or another reference you are authorized to edit.
Reproduce the selected result in WeShop
Open WeShop’s GPT Image generator, attach the reference through the image upload control, and select GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. The source must actually be attached: describing it in words alone would create a different task.

The table reports the requested aspect ratio and the returned dimensions separately. The portrait outputs in this set do not have to be an exact mathematical 4:5 crop. These runs were made on October 20, 2026, with one result per prompt; they do not measure repeat-run reliability.
Write the premise before choosing the typography
ONE COFFEE, THREE SEQUELS gives the scene a joke to support. Keep the cover title short enough to read, and leave a quiet region for it. The request places the main title above the couple and a smaller fictional-romance line at the bottom.
Change the setting without tangling the pose
A rain-lit platform and an exchanged glance can suggest romantic tension without complicated contact. Ask for both faces to remain recognizable and specify a flat finished cover so the model does not put the design on a book lying on a table.
Copy the tested accidentally a three-book romance prompt
Edit image 1 into a dramatic fictional romance novel cover parody starring the same two adults. Preserve both recognizable faces, hair colors and facial proportions. Re-dress the woman in a fully covered navy evening dress and the man in a tailored dark green suit with white shirt. They stand close but not touching faces on a rain-slick train platform at night, exchanging an amused intense glance, restrained romantic tension. Luminous train windows, cinematic rain and warm backlight, no kissing or explicit content. Leave clean dark space for large legible typography: exact title ONE COFFEE, THREE SEQUELS in the upper third; exact smaller line A FICTIONAL ROMANCE at the bottom. Do not add author names, prices, publisher marks, other words, extra people or watermark. Make it look like a finished flat book cover, not a physical book.
Generate one image, open the result at full size, and compare it with the attached source. The right-hand tool loads this selected example with its actual reference, prompt and settings. You can try it directly using the tool on the right.
What the actual output shows
The result shows the pair in evening clothes on a rainy platform, with warm train-window light and a large ONE COFFEE, THREE SEQUELS title. A FICTIONAL ROMANCE is readable at the bottom.
The faces and pose are reinterpreted as part of the new scene. The result resembles the reference pair, but it should not be treated as exact identity reproduction or evidence of a real relationship event.
Check the details before you share
Proofread the title at full size and thumbnail size, then inspect the two faces separately. Decorative lines or flourishes may be added even when no extra words are requested. This example is a fictional cover parody, not a claim of a published book or professional print readiness.
If a detail needs correction, return to the source or attach the selected result for a clearly scoped revision. State exactly what should change and what must remain. That correction path is workflow guidance; we are not presenting an untested follow-up as a successful result.
Reveal the wildly exaggerated plot
Use the ordinary couple image first, then the cover. A playful caption can pretend the image generator got carried away with the premise while still disclosing the AI fiction. If you want a different trope, change the title and scene together so the visual joke stays coherent.

We went for one coffee. AI wrote the trilogy. ONE COFFEE, THREE SEQUELS ☕ A fictional AI romance-cover parody. What should book two be called?
