Make Funny Halloween Costumes from Everyday Fears with GPT Image 2.5
Turn rent, unread emails, Monday meetings and deadlines into funny AI Halloween costumes. See four tested prompts and a shared reference workflow.
A vampire costume is frightening in theory. “999+ unread emails” may be more frightening on Monday morning. These funny Halloween costume ideas turn everyday adult worries into props people can understand before they read a caption.
We used the same full-body reference for four designs: rent, an inbox, a meeting and a deadline. The point is to make an abstract worry look like something a person could wear, rather than generating a screenshot with a face attached.

One reference image → GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst → everyday fears as visual costumes.
Choose an everyday fear with one obvious visual symbol
Use a full-body picture with a clear face and space around the torso. Our synthetic adult subject wears a plain shirt and jeans, which makes the added cardboard, paper and notification shapes easy to see. Give each concept a single central object and a short label.
Our reference was generated for this demonstration; no real person, pet owner or location is being represented as the subject of a real event. You can use your own suitable photo or another reference you are authorized to edit.
Reproduce the selected result in WeShop
Open WeShop’s GPT Image generator, attach the reference through the image upload control, and select GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. The source must actually be attached: describing it in words alone would create a different task.

| Tool | WeShop GPT Image generator |
| Model | gpt-image-2.5-sunburst |
| Input | One attached reference image |
| Aspect ratio request | 4:5 |
| Image size / quality | 1K / medium |
| Quantity | One per prompt |
| Selected output dimensions | 912 × 1152 pixels |
The table reports the requested aspect ratio and the returned dimensions separately. The portrait outputs in this set do not have to be an exact mathematical 4:5 crop. These runs were made on October 20, 2026, with one result per prompt; they do not measure repeat-run reliability.
Translate anxiety into a wearable object
Rent becomes a paper invoice, an inbox becomes a cloud of envelopes, Monday becomes a calendar page, and a deadline becomes an hourglass. Specify shoulder straps or a tunic so the output reads as a costume instead of a floating graphic.
Keep the joke readable at feed size
Use very few words. The envelope design needs a short UNREAD EMAIL label and the familiar 999+ badge; the hourglass needs DEADLINE and TODAY. Keep the head and shoes visible so viewers recognize the same person across the set.
Copy the tested the unread inbox prompt
Edit image 1 into a funny wearable UNREAD EMAIL costume. Preserve the adult woman's face, auburn hair, glasses and deadpan expression. Her torso is surrounded by a lightweight cardboard cloud of white envelope shapes, with a large red notification badge showing exactly 999+. Include one clean white chest placard with exactly UNREAD EMAIL. Keep her face, hands and sneakers unobstructed, plain studio background. Physical DIY costume, no screen interface, no company logos, no extra text, no watermark.
Generate one image, open the result at full size, and compare it with the attached source. The right-hand tool loads this selected example with its actual reference, prompt and settings. You can try it directly using the tool on the right.
What the actual output shows
The four results preserve the auburn-haired subject and deadpan studio presentation while changing the costume prop. The inbox uses a red 999+ badge; the Monday version has a calendar tunic; the deadline version uses an hourglass.
The rent image renders RENT DUE, TOMORROW and AGAIN, but appends a full stop to AGAIN. It also turns the wallet into a hand-held prop. The result supports the costume joke, not a claim of exact punctuation or prop placement.
Other prompts tested from the same reference
Each result below was generated from the original reference separately, using the same model and settings.
The rent is due

Edit image 1 into a funny Halloween costume concept photo. Preserve the adult woman's face, auburn bob, glasses and deadpan expression. Dress her in a wearable oversized cream paper-invoice costume with cardboard shoulder straps over her ordinary clothes, hands and shoes visible. On the invoice print exactly these three lines in large readable black lettering: RENT DUE; TOMORROW; AGAIN. A small empty wallet prop hangs loosely at the side. Clean studio background, convincing DIY cardboard and paper materials, absurd but wearable. No extra words, currency amounts, logos, watermark or other people.
The Monday morning meeting

Edit image 1 into a humorous Halloween costume called the Monday meeting. Preserve the adult woman's face, hair, glasses and expression. She wears a large cardboard calendar-page tunic over ordinary clothes. Print exactly MONDAY at the top and 9:00 AM below it, both large and readable. Attach three small blank sticky notes and a toy clock face pointing to nine. She holds one empty coffee mug by its handle, full body visible. Plain studio setting, believable DIY costume, no other words, brands, people or watermark.
The deadline

Edit image 1 into an absurd but wearable Halloween costume about deadlines. Preserve the adult woman's face, auburn bob, glasses and deadpan expression. She wears a black cardboard hourglass costume with visible gold paper sand and a bold cream placard reading exactly DEADLINE. Put a separate small red badge reading exactly TODAY. Her arms, hands and white sneakers remain visible, plain studio background, DIY craft materials, no extra text, no logos or watermark.
Check the details before you share
Proofread labels and inspect straps, sleeves and hands before sharing. These are AI costume concepts, not tested sewing patterns or instructions for building a safe wearable object. The interactive example uses the successful inbox result, while the rent punctuation issue remains visible in the article.
If a detail needs correction, return to the source or attach the selected result for a clearly scoped revision. State exactly what should change and what must remain. That correction path is workflow guidance; we are not presenting an untested follow-up as a successful result.
Make the comments part of the costume series
Lead with the most immediately readable costume, then ask people which adult fear should become the next outfit. Keep the same source portrait for subsequent entries. This format gives a recurring joke a stable character without needing the same image layout for every future post.
